As a company, we are able to provide our customers with a full design, installation and planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of services. Our key areas are gas and oil fired heating equipment, air conditioning, ventilation systems and plumbing services.
We can also provide our contract customers with a 24/7 callout service to provide them with the peace of mind that their business can carry on to operate with the minimum of disruption.
Under Regulation 35 of the GSIUR (1998), all employers and the self-employed are required to ensure that gas appliances, flues, pipework and safety devices in commercial catering establishments are maintained in a safe condition
At Austin Heating & Cooling Services we are able to carry out the annual safety checks, servicing and repairs to all of your gas fired catering appliances. Along with the checks on the appliances, all catering installations are required to meet BS6173 (2009) regarding the ventilation and safety interlocking of all gas and ventilation equipment in the kitchen. Whilst this British Standard is not a form of law, it is recognised as a standard of good practice that should be adhered to.
Whilst not every kitchen is of a modern standard, and meets all of the modern requirements, we are able to offer advice and information on ways to maximize safety within the kitchen and minimize risks.
